BECS and the EPS
The EPS is a bespoke pension scheme that has been designed for those working in the Performing Arts industry. Some of you may well already have joined the scheme.
There is the option, should you give BECS the authority to do so, to direct your BECS payments to your EPS.
For every £1.00 you pay into your EPS, you receive £0.25 from the HMRC resulting on an investment of £1.25. Higher rate tax payers will also notice an additional benefit which can be explained to you by your accountant or First Act, the EPS administrators.
